Privacy Policy

Kleervox is built privacy-first. Your audio is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, stored, or inspected by us. This policy explains the limited account data we do handle when you sign in or subscribe.

Audio never leaves your device

Noise cancellation and echo cancellation run locally on your computer (in the desktop app) or locally in your browser (the website demo). Microphone audio, the sample noises, your test recordings, and the cleaned output are processed on-device only.

We do not upload, transmit, persist, or analyze any audio. There is no server-side audio processing.

What we collect

Account data from Google sign-in: your email address, name, and profile image. We use Google solely to identify you — we never receive your Google password.

Usage metrics: the number of seconds of noise cancellation used per day and the date, used to enforce the Free plan’s daily limit and to show your usage history. This contains no audio.

Account state: your plan, timezone, and role.

Sign-in history: timestamps, client type (web or desktop), and coarse metadata such as IP address and user agent, kept for account security and support.

Billing data: when you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We store your subscription status, billing period, and a non-sensitive payment summary (card brand and last four digits). We never store full card numbers.

How we use your data

To create and operate your account, enforce plan entitlements, show your usage and billing history, provide support, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third parties

Google (authentication) and Stripe (payments) process the data described above under their own privacy policies. No other third parties receive your personal data.

Data retention and your rights

We retain account and usage data while your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time.

You can edit your profile from your dashboard, cancel your subscription from the billing portal, and request account deletion by contacting us.
